Attorney Mazow is a founding partner of Forrest, LaMothe, Mazow, McCullough, Yasi & Yasi P.C. and a founding partner of Mazow | McCullough, PC.
Mr. Mazow is dedicated to defending the rights of consumers, employees and tenants. As a partner at Forrest LaMothe, he primarily practices in the areas of: Consumer Protection; False Advertising; Unfair Insurance Practices Litigation; Data Breach Litigation; Employment/Wage; Unfair Housing; Unfair Collections; Medical Privacy; and Products Liability.
Prior to his civil litigation practice with Forrest LaMothe, Mr. Mazow was an Assistant District Attorney and Prosecutor in Essex County, Massachusetts where he prosecuted well over 100 jury trials to verdict and gained invaluable experience arguing difficult cases before juries and judges. After the DA’s office, Mr. Mazow worked for Peabody & Arnold, LLP, in Boston, where he represented insurance companies and defended corporations.
Through trial victories and settlements, Mr. Mazow has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients who have been the victims of unlawful practices and suffered tragedies.
In the courtroom, Mr. Mazow is known for his ability to communicate with juries to explain how his clients have been wronged. He is a skilled communicator, strong negotiator, and zealous advocate for his clients. Mr. Mazow tells his clients, “I can’t guarantee you a result. But what I can promise is that nobody will fight harder to get you the best result possible.”
Mr. Mazow is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States District Court of Massachusetts, State of New Hampshire, and United States District Court of New Hampshire.
Mr. Mazow has been a member of the board of editors of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, an elected member of the Swampscott Board of Selectmen, and a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Bar Association. He is also a member of the regional board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League.
A 1990 graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York, Mr. Mazow then received his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where he graduated cum laude in 1994. While on the New England Law Review, he authored the article Simon & Schuster v. NY Crime Victims Board, 28 New Eng. L. Rev. 813 (1993).
